 Joyce Onguglo began working with GRM part-time in March 2005 and joined the Young Professionals Programme full-time in April 2006.
She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2005 with a double-degree in Arts and Business Management, majoring in International Relations, Spanish and International Business. As well as her studies in Spanish, Joyce is fluent in French and Tok Pisin (PNG Pidgin).
“GRM is a great place to gain valuable experience in the development sector. Given the opportunities that are available at GRM, I have been overwhelmed with the choice that I can take and the experience I can gain from working here. My involvement in the sporting activities that have been organised at GRM has also been beneficial in terms of getting to know the people I work with better. Given my international background, I believe that GRM has supported me in enabling me to work in areas that are important to development and strengthening my interest in working toward creating a better future,” she says.
