"Happy is the Hearing Man....." Emerson
GRM International has been managing the Solomon Islands Law & Justice Institutional Strengthening Program since December 2001. Part of the program has involved working with the Solomon Islands Prison Service (SIPS) to improve facilities, security and the general welfare of the prison population.
 Selwyn Kepoia has been an employee of SIPS for the past 13 years and is a loyal and valued member of the organisation. Selwyn has been diagnosed with two conditions that are leading to profound hearing loss. GRM, with kind donations from AusAID, the Chifley at Lennons and Solomon Airlines is pleased to have sponsored Selwyn to address this condition.
Selwyn has attended a number of appointments with Queensland Hearing and on 31 July made the final journey to Brisbane and had specialist hearing aids fitted which will enable him more easily to carry out his personal and professional life.
We wish Selwyn all the best for the future. It has been our pleasure getting to know him and supporting him on this important journey.
