Consultancy to Assess Proposals for the SADC Competitive Regional Agricultural Research Fund (ICART CRAFT) – BOTSWANA

GRM International – Netherlands Office is part of a consortium lead by TRANSTEC BV of Belgium supplying services to the EC in the field of Rural Development and Food Security.

On Thursday, 13 April 2006, GRM NL received notification that two of our consultants were selected by the EC to form part of an expert team of four assessors to assess proposals for the SADC Competitive Regional Agricultural Research Fund (ICART CRAFT) in Botswana.

The Sustainable Livelihoods Specialist and Animal Production Expert will mobilise in Mid-May for Gaborone for the two-week assignment to assess proposals relating to participatory approaches to technology generation and development, empowerment of farmers and other stakeholders, environmental and policy issues and poverty reduction.
