GRM is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Program Director/Participatory Land Governance Adviser for the AusAID funded Vanuatu Lands Program. The five-year program will support the Vanuatu Government and its National Land Steering Committee in the implementation of Vanuatu’s land reform agenda.
The Program Director/Participatory Land Governance Adviser will be responsible for strategic oversight, the overall planning, program management and reporting of the program and the implementation of the Participatory Land Governance component.
The candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant post-graduate university qualifications in a land-related area
- Demonstrated senior management experience of international development programs;
- Proven skills in planning, program management and reporting skills in national/provincial development settings;
- Proven experience in land systems, processes and governance issues and practice;
- Proven experience in building networks and partnerships at international level;
- Knowledge of computer-based land information and mapping systems;
- Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments; and
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Prior experience in developing countries is essential. |
