Anneke Hofs joined GRM in January 2005. The first person from The Netherlands to enrol in GRM's Young Professionals programme, she graduated from the Nijmegen University at the beginning of 2004 with a Masters of Development Studies.
Before joining GRM she conducted research in The Netherlands about immigrant youth in the city, part of a larger international research project on the resilience of youth.
Presently, Anneke is based in Canberra and working closely with the Effective Development Group, which is a company closely associated with GRM focussing on monitoring and evaluation, and activity design. With her international background of living in Africa and India and her travels around the world, Anneke has a good understanding of all that 'development' encapsulates.
"GRM's Young Professional Programme includes all aspects of project management and implementation, and is for me a very interesting and exciting programme to be part of. It is an excellent opportunity for young graduates to develop their skills," says Anneke.
