GRM Opens project office in Kabul

Support to Strategic Planning for Sustainable livelihood Programme (SSPSRL), a GRM International project in Afghanistan financed by DFID, has opened the project office in Kabul. The office is led by Dr. Jorgen W. Hansen and supported by national staff. The project is working to strengthen the capacity of Afghan government institutions (Ministry of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Food and Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development) concerned with agriculture and rural development to manage beneficial change through formulating better polices and implementing multi-sectoral programmes in the context of a sustainable livelihoods framework. In addition to this project has already got offices in both ministries, where the two of the project advisors are working closely with ministry staff.
